CFC 130

CFC130

it's been so long since I posted, I want to get back in to the swing of things and this is definitely the perfect way.  I love the options and creative inspiration these challenges give.  I saw a tutorial on these on ChicnScratch you tube channel.  Very cool, and simple.  It's just what it's called... card in a box, that folds down and fits perfectly into an envelope.
see my oval shape??? lol, celebrate today balloon...

I used quite a few different stamp sets and supplies,
I'll update later.
Meanwhile, you guys like my mangled finger nail
(below)
lol

Here, is the card/box in a vellum envelope.  I love the way that looks.
I so enjoyed making these.  Making more?... you ask.
Umm yeah.  It doesn't get any more adorable than this.
Stay tuned.
Thanks for visiting.

A Christmas Thank You

I'm in a card making frenzy... Lol. Karlys busy with her rubberband bracelets, so I have an excuse to take time & be crafty. Crafty together.  I wanted to participate with a few challenges. It's a new year, trying to make it a crafty productive start to the year.Soooo, this card is for the occasion where u may want to give a thank you for a special or even unexpected gift u may have received over the holidays. I love the wintery colors & theme! Blue blue blue. Snowflake snowflake snowflake. By the time the holidays are over, people are sick of red white green.

The challeneges:
RS#96
Angled Background
Make it Monday #146 challenge

supplies:
Pink Paislee color wash paper
Martha Stewart snowflake punches
Papertrey ink signature Christmas stamp
Vellum
Mama elephant basic borders stamp

The stamped sentiment and border were stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with ZING aqua embossing powder.  I also added a vellum strip stamped with the dots border  at an angle at the bottom and just left it.

love how it turned out.
thanks for stopping by.  Make sure to check out all the other great creations
in these challeneges.

Great card inspiration on the blog.

Love the Pink Paislee color wash papers. I recently bought a 6x6  pad... broke it out today & made a few bday cards.
I also used Heidi Swapp color magic stars & arrows.

So I think I'm getting back into the swing of things.
